Hi friend, I’m Karen!

I’m a Sarnia born country girl. I grew up rearranging my mom’s home every season I could and spending time making memories and parties in the forest, creek, and hobby barn we grew up on. I was always demanding a funny farm out of my dad and somehow managed to do the same with my husband. I have a farm loving husband - not a furniture hauling husband - but he does it anyway for me. He’s been my right hand person in every chapter. We have 2 wonderful daughters, Karlene & Rylee and spend most our time going from the barn to the beach.

I’m a thrift and antique hunting fiend, always out for an authentic find. Buffy, Ren, and Kare Bear are a few nicknames of mine that have stuck … I decided to run with “Ren” in my business name as it stands for rentals, events & nuptials. Fitting, right? 😌

I’m fortunate enough to pursue work through a passion at this stage of my life but I used to work in health care with the elderly through recreation therapies. To see a passion come to reality and be acknowledged for it is a whole other fairytale feeling .

Music is my core! You can call me eclectic when it comes to my playlist. From country, CCR , Willie Nelson, Simon and Garfunkel, to Dr Dre… I’ll see you on the dance floor. ;)

Lastly, I’m all about making connections - reaping the benefits of a natural setting - wellness as a whole person - loving freely - celebrating freely - and just pulling off a heck of a good party.
